About
As a family nurse practitioner, I wholeheartedly believe in the nursing care model which is patient-focused and treats the whole person. All aspects of the patient’s physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental health play a role in holistic care. As your nurse practitioner, I want to listen and understand your health goals so that I can assist you in the journey of achieving them. I desire mutual trust, respect, and understanding in a provider and patient relationship with people of all ages.Jacquelyn was raised in Baker County. She loves the beauty of the area and the generational roots her family has here. Her dream to become a health care provider is rooted in her desire to serve this community and offer patient-centered care to this specific population. Jacquelyn received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Her undergraduate degree in nursing was received from Oregon Health & Sciences University. Jacquelyn participated in a gerontological honors program in her undergraduate work and then received the inaugural Outstanding DNP Project Award for her work in helping to improve gerontological health while in her graduate program. Her written work for this project was accepted for publication into the Journal of Gerontological Nursing.
