My favorite part about family practice is getting to know the patient and patient's family through developing a therapeutic relationship. I feel that it is that relationship that guides me to help the patient meet their personal health goals and enables me to care for their whole family.Debra Burleigh Gilbert is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is originally from Montana, but chose to move to Idaho to be closer to her family. She graduated from nursing school at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. After more than 10 years of working in Orthopedic Trauma and Mother Baby Care, she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at Loyola University-New Orleans and a Post Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in July 2010, at Gonzaga University.
