About
Healthy bodies and healthy minds go hand in hand with healthy lifestyles. My approach to medicine is to be your healthcare partner and involve you in decision-making that best fits your lifestyle. I offer a hybrid practice as a family medicine physician who is also board certified in sports medicine. I approach your healthcare needs by considering all aspects of illness and injury. Individuals with issues preventing or limiting physical activity are at risk for, or impaired by acute, or chronic issues that offset being healthy. In our partnership, we will develop a plan for you that will help you feel better and more able to engage in personal health. This approach allows a comprehensive and holistic awareness to managing health and acute or chronic illness. It is essential to integrate preventive care into every treatment plan. I will always work with you and your needs to ensure any plans we discuss make senses and are attainable. In addition to thorough musculoskeletal exams and X-ray imaging in the clinic, I utilize ultrasound for diagnostics of musculoskeletal issues as well as for needle guidance if injections are indicated. This leads to improved precision of diagnostics, less pain or soft tissue injury, and accuracy of injection placement. Injections may include dry needling, steroid, anesthesia, and nerve blocks, as well as nerve and tissue hydrodissection for pain relief; and in specific cases, whole blood or other biologics.
