About
Dr. Shane McCauley was born in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama, and earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Baylor University in Waco, TX and an MD from University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He completed Family Medicine training in the U.S. Air Force, and then served as an Air Force Aerospace Medicine and Family Medicine Physician for 17 years. He continues to serve the community in the Idaho Air National Guard as Chief of Aerospace Medicine, as well Medical Director for the Boise State University vaccine clinic and vaccine laboratory. He possesses a comprehensive background in medical readiness and support derived from conducting domestic and global operations as well as extensive knowledge in occupational and preventative health, primary care management, medical oversight and public health. He enjoys running, cycling, camping, and any outdoor activities with his family.
